Totally Locally West Bridgford came about due to the determination of one person…and rather aptly she is one of the first Total Local Heroes due to all the other stuff that she has done in the area.

Karina Wells deserves pretty much all the credit for getting Totally Locally going in West Bridgford and this is mainly down to the fact that she decided that she wanted to do something for the great shops and businesses in the area.

Having already organised the Melton Road Shops Market on the first Saturday of each month, Karina came across Totally Locally and thought that is was a perfect compliment to what she hoped for her town.

…and so the Totally Locally West Bridgford campaign was born and we have spent time with ships and businesses in the area, finding out all the great Hidden Gems, talking with people in the area and also reminding people of our £5 message and how they can make a difference.

In the coming months you can expect to see more from Totally Locally…Fiverfests…the Totally Locally times and tie ins with other things that are going on in the area…also you can look around the other Totally Locally towns to see how Totally Locally is making  a difference in those areas too.

Totally Locally is a long running, slow burn campaign about changing peoples behaviour and attitude to the place where they live. It makes a difference and has done of other towns across the UK…and it it available to anyone…you just need to be nice and ask for it.
