Here at Totally Locally Towers we like to spread a good thing when we see it. So we jumped at the chance of becoming official supporters of this year’s Independent Retailer Month.

This month-long campaign encourages local retailers to work together to create good things throughout July 2012 to draw shoppers back to the high street and being reminded of the treasures on their doorsteps. We think it’s a lovely idea, and makes July an even better time to Totally Locally-ify your shop, high street or town. Just think… lots of independent retailers, lots of celebrations, in the month of strawberries, ice cream, picnics in the park… it’s going to be The Summer of High Street Love.

You can read the official press release if you like that sort of thing, or better yet, book your ticket for the launch conference in Solihul on 1st July. Other supporters include the Association of Town Centre Management (ATCM), and Action for Market Towns (AMT) so we’re in great company!
