HIDDEN GEM LOCATION – HEBDEN BRIDGE

Organic House has been in Hebden Bridge long enough now to be labelled an institution. And what an institution it is! A big cafe split over two floors, this place serves everything organic (as the name would suggest).

The Upstairs Lounge

The food is the star here, and people come from miles for their Full English breakfast, their vegie pate on toast and huge salads and fresh fruit smoothies. They also stock organic wines, beers and ciders to drink with your lunch (don’t tell the boss) or to take home for later.
All in a funky bohemian setting (try the upstairs lounge where you can relax on leather sofas while playing a game of chess) with friendly staff who really care about what they serve up, Organic House is a real destination stop.

All meals are made on the premises, and they make a big effort to source their fresh ingredients locally,, so it’s a pretty right on place to be.
